Privacy Policy
Last updated: [Month Day, Year]
Your privacy matters to us. This page explains, in plain words, what information we collect on empowerlifepath.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We never sell your personal information.
Who we are
Empower Life Path (“we,” “us”) is the business of Vijay Yadavalli, a licensed insurance professional. This policy covers empowerlifepath.com and the forms, booking pages, and emails connected to it.
What we collect
Information you give us:
- Booking a call: name, email, phone number, and your answers to the booking questions (such as what you’d like help with and your preferred language).
- The LifePath Check-Up and other forms: your answers, and your name, email, or phone if you choose to share them.
- Newsletter and free guides: your first name and email.
- Feedback and business-opportunity forms: the details you type in.
- Calls, texts, and emails you send us.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data: pages you visit, how you found our site, your general location (city or region), device and browser type. We use Google Analytics for this.
- Security data: your IP address and visit times, used by our security tools to block spam and attacks.
- Cookies: small files your browser stores. See “Cookies” below.
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank details, or health information through this website. If you need to share sensitive details for an insurance application, we’ll do that through a secure channel, not a website form.
How we use your information
- To schedule, confirm, and remind you about calls (by email, and by text if you gave a phone number).
- To answer your questions and follow up on your request.
- To send the newsletter or guide you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages are helpful and improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.
- To meet legal and regulatory duties that apply to licensed insurance professionals.
Text messages
If you give us your phone number when booking, you agree to receive text messages about that appointment, such as confirmations and reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. We don’t send marketing texts unless you’ve agreed to them, and we never share your phone number for others’ marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with services that help us run this website and our business, and only what they need to do their job:
- TidyCal: appointment booking and reminders.
- Jotform: forms such as the LifePath Check-Up.
- MailerLite: newsletter and follow-up emails.
- Google (Analytics, Calendar, Workspace tools): site statistics and scheduling.
- Our web host and security tools: keeping the site online and safe.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or with an insurance carrier or our affiliated agency when you ask us to help you apply for coverage. We never sell or rent your personal information.
Cookies
Cookies help the site work and show us, in total, how people use it. Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site still works without them.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law or insurance regulations require. Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time with the link at the bottom of any email.
- Stop texts by replying STOP.
- Ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. We’ll respond within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.
To make a request: Email hello@empowerlifepath.com, call or text (516) 356-7063, or write to Empower Life Path, [mailing address or PO box].
Keeping it safe
We use secure (https) connections, trusted service providers, and security tools to protect your information. No website is 100% secure, so please don’t send sensitive details like Social Security or account numbers through website forms or email.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Other websites
Our site links to other sites, such as TidyCal, Google Maps, and social media. Their privacy policies apply when you visit them.
